Bathroom Remodel with Living Room and Dining Room Furnishings (not photographed)
Design Aesthetic: Timeless Transitional

This charming hillside home in Queen Anne still retained many of it’s original architectural details when my clients purchased it. However, the upstairs bathroom (which is the only bathroom for the three bedrooms on that floor) had been redone in very modern finishes, with a huge walk-in shower in place of a tub. Hoping to start a family soon, our clients worried about functionality for bathing a child as well as space. An old chimney stack from a decommissioned fireplace was taking up a large chunk of the room, limiting our options for layout and storage. We worked with our contractor to remove the fireplace stack and rework the bathroom, adding in a tub/shower combo, putting in heated floors for an added bit of luxury, and restoring the fixtures and finishes to better match the architectural style of the rest of the home.
Our clients, along with their new baby, adore the bathroom’s new design and its functionality, and they love that it feels like a seamless part of their space.
